Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport, where a Golden Star Travel & Events representative will meet and assist you on arrival. Continue by private transfer to Amman and settle in for your first night in Jordan.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxed introduction to the capital. Walk along lively Rainbow Street, discover local cafés and restaurants, or explore the atmosphere of downtown Amman.
Your first evening is intentionally flexible, giving you time to rest and prepare for your Jordan self-drive adventure.

After receiving your rental car, your Jordan Fly & Drive tour begins. Start with Amman, a fascinating capital where ancient history and modern Jordanian life meet.

Visit the Amman Citadel for panoramic views over the city and explore the historic downtown area, including the Roman Theatre and traditional markets.

Later, drive north to Jerash, one of the Middle East’s most impressive Roman archaeological sites. Discover its colonnaded streets, plazas, temples and theatres before returning to Amman.

Leave Amman and begin your journey south toward Petra. Along the way, you may stop at the Dead Sea, the lowest exposed land point on Earth and one of Jordan’s most distinctive natural attractions.

Take time to relax by the shore and, where access is available, experience the famous sensation of floating in its mineral-rich waters.

Continue south through Jordan’s changing landscapes toward Petra. Arrive in the evening and enjoy time at leisure before tomorrow’s exploration of the ancient Nabataean city.

Today is dedicated to Petra, Jordan’s UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Begin with an approximately 2.5-hour English-speaking guided tour. Walk through the dramatic Siq before reaching the Treasury, Petra’s most recognizable monument. Continue through the archaeological site to discover Nabataean tombs, temples, the Street of Facades and other remarkable remains.

After the guided tour, you are free to continue exploring independently. Travelers looking for a more active experience can walk farther into the site toward additional viewpoints or the impressive Monastery.

After breakfast, leave Petra and drive south toward the extraordinary landscapes of Wadi Rum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its sandstone mountains, vast valleys and red desert scenery.

On arrival, join your included 2-hour 4×4 Jeep tour and venture deeper into the desert with a local driver. Discover some of Wadi Rum’s dramatic rock formations, open valleys and panoramic desert landscapes.

After your Jeep experience, enjoy time to appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and spectacular scenery of one of Jordan’s most memorable destinations.

Leave the desert behind and begin your drive north toward Madaba, one of Jordan’s most historically significant towns.

Madaba is renowned for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Its most famous treasure is the 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land preserved inside St. George’s Church.

Spend time exploring Madaba’s historic center, churches, local shops and relaxed streets at your own pace. This final self-drive day offers a pleasant transition from Jordan’s dramatic desert landscapes back toward the Amman region.

Enjoy your final morning in Jordan before your arranged transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for your departure flight.
