Your day begins with pickup from your hotel or agreed location in Amman. Your private air-conditioned vehicle takes you north toward Jerash, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the region. Walk through the archaeological site and discover landmarks such as Hadrian’s Arch, the Oval Plaza, the Colonnaded Street, the Roman Theatre, and the temples of Zeus and Artemis.
After exploring Jerash, continue through the green hills of northern Jordan toward Ajloun Castle, also known as Qala’at ar-Rabad. The hilltop fortress dates to the 12th century. It played an important defensive role in the region during the Ayyubid period.
At Ajloun Castle, explore its stone towers, defensive walls, historic chambers, and museum areas. In addition, enjoy panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. Weather conditions determine how far you can see.
After the castle visit, meet your driver for the return journey to Amman. We can also arrange an optional lunch stop upon request. However, the standard tour price does not include lunch.
