Jordan Biblical Faith Tour – Walk Through Scripture in the Holy Land

Begin your Jordan Biblical Faith Tour and experience a powerful spiritual journey through some of the most sacred places in the Bible. This 8-day pilgrimage combines biblical history, faith reflection, and meaningful travel experiences across Jordan.

From the Jordan River to Mount Nebo, each day allows you to walk in the footsteps of prophets, saints, and disciples. Along the way, you will visit sites connected to Jesus, Moses, Elijah, and John the Baptist. As a result, scripture comes alive in a deeply personal way.

Your Pilgrimage Begins in Amman

Your biblical journey starts in Amman, the capital of Jordan. Upon arrival, our team will greet you at the airport, assist with visa procedures, and transfer you comfortably to your hotel.

Soon after, you will visit Mar Elias, the traditional birthplace of the Prophet Elijah. Although the site is peaceful and modest, it carries deep spiritual meaning for believers.

Visit the Baptism Site of Jesus

One of the most important stops on your Jordan biblical pilgrimage is Bethany Beyond the Jordan, the recognized baptism site of Jesus Christ.

Here, John the Baptist baptized Jesus in the waters of the Jordan River. Today, this sacred location is officially recognized by the Vatican and multiple Christian denominations. Therefore, it holds profound importance for pilgrims from around the world.

Discover Madaba and Mount Nebo

Your journey continues to Madaba, known as the “City of Mosaics.” Inside St. George’s Church, you will see the famous Mosaic Map of the Holy Land, one of the oldest surviving maps of biblical regions.

Afterward, travel to Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before his death. On clear days, you can see Jericho, the Jordan Valley, and even Jerusalem. This powerful viewpoint offers a moment for prayer and reflection.

Explore Petra on Your Faith Journey

Further south, you will discover Petra, the ancient city carved into rose-red sandstone cliffs. While Petra is famous for its Nabataean history, it also played a role in early Christian life. In fact, early believers found refuge among its tombs and caves.

During your visit, you will walk through the Siq and stand before the Treasury, one of the most iconic landmarks in Jordan. Petra blends history, faith, and natural beauty in a remarkable way.

Visit Machaerus and Umm ar-Rasas

Your biblical tour also includes Machaerus, the fortress where John the Baptist was imprisoned and executed. Standing on this historic hilltop offers a powerful reminder of sacrifice and faith.

Nearby, you will explore Umm ar-Rasas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This archaeological treasure features early Christian churches and beautifully preserved mosaics that reflect Jordan’s rich Christian heritage.

Reflection at the Dead Sea

Your spiritual journey concludes at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Here, you can float in mineral-rich waters and enjoy time for rest and reflection.

After days of powerful biblical experiences, the Dead Sea provides a peaceful setting to process your journey and renew your spirit.

Begin your visit by passing ancient tombs before entering the Siq, a dramatic narrow gorge stretching nearly 1,200 meters. Towering rock walls rise over 100 meters above you as the path winds through the canyon. Suddenly, the passage opens to reveal Al-Khazneh (The Treasury), Petra’s most iconic monument. Carved in the 1st century BC, the Treasury stands nearly 43 meters high. Scholars believe it served first as a royal tomb and later as a Nabataean temple.
